Chemline
Type 14 Diaphragm valves is an all new and improved design available
1/2" to 4". The flanged body has the same end to end length
as the DV Series Type G or Type 72, as well as most lined metal
diaphragm valves. The Type 14 was born after years of research and
development including performance tests against other popular plastic
valves. The result is a new design with superior pressure performance,
lower required handwheel torques and many new features.
Chemline Type 15/72 Diaphragm Valves have service histories dating
back to 1970 operating in some of the toughest chemical plant applications
in Canada. They have proven themselves on internal and external
corrosive, as well as abrasive services.
This is an excellent throttling valve, and is suited for slurries
or viscous liquids. Because of the self-draining design with no
dead volume, it is good for sanitary and high purity applications.
Compared to other plastic valve types, diaphragm valves offers the
highest temperature/pressure ratings and chemical resistance.
