Industrial ECTFE “Halar” Single Wall Piping Systems

ECTFE
Pressure Range: 18 PSI at 95°C – 153 PSI at 10°C
Pipe Sizes: 20mm – 110mm

Description

Industrial ECTFE (Halar)

Excellent resistance to mineral and oxidized acids, alkaline, metal etching products, liquid oxygen, chlorine and all organic solvents. Exceptions are hot amines, sodium and potassium. High impact resistance, High abrasion resistance, High resistance to UV and gamma radiation, High pressure load resistance, High insulating and electrical resistance properties, High flame retardancy, High resistance to microorganism growth, Low frictional resistance. An excellent choice for sodium hypochlorite chemical feed systems. Life expectancy is 25 years on sodium hypochlorite service.

Valves

The Chemline Type 21 HypoValve ball valve with ECTFE (Halar) butt fusion ends for rigid pipe applications is the choice for sodium hypochlorite applications. It offers long term, maintenance and leak-free service and is easy to install. The HypoValve is available ½” to 1” and has all the high quality Type 21 features, plus a vented ball, stainless steel valve tag and a yellow handle indicating sodium hypochlorite service.
The Chemline SB10/11 HypoValve back pressure/relief valve with ECTFE (Halar) butt fusion ends for rigid pipe applications is the choice for sodium hypochlorite applications. It offers long term, maintenance and leak-free service and is easy to install. The HypoValve is available ½” to 1” and has the ability to operate with lower quality chemical where other valves fail.
