Valve Tags

Valve Tags (all valves)

Imprinted mylar labels and tags of paper, stamped 304 stainless steel and engraved laminated plastic are available.

Vented Ball Valves

Vented Ball (ball valves only)

All 2-way ball valves used on sodium hypochlorite should have an 1/8” ball vent drilled on the upstream side of the ball. A mylar label is supplied to indicate flow direction. A laser engraved tag stating that ball is drilled, indicating flow direction indication is available.

ChemFlare Ends

ChemFlare™ Ends (all True Union valves)

All True Union end valves and flow meters are available with ChemFlare™ end connections for PFA tubing. These are offered as a long term, leak-proof alternative to PVC solvent welded piping on sodium hypochlorite services. Learn more >

Valve Stem Extensions

Stem Extensions (ball, butterfly and gate valves)

We offer stem extensions for ball, butterfly, diaphragm and gate valves, custom fabricated out of PVC or stainless steel to your specifications and lengths. All extensions replicate the valve top works, so that standard options and accessories can be used or retrofitted (handles, levers, gear operators, municipal operating nuts, locking devices, manual limit switches, actuators). Style “A” design has steel shaft and PVC housing. Valve end is waterproof. The handle end is available waterproofed at extra cost. Also available are Style “B” stem extensions without a PVC housing. Shafts are available in stainless steel. Learn more >

Valve Operators

Operators (ball, butterfly and gate valves)

Gear Operators – Available for butterfly valves and ball valves normally hand lever operated. Chain Wheel Operators – An aluminum sprocket rim and chain guide is attached to the hand wheel of gate, diaphragm, or gear operated butterfly valves. All ball and butterfly valves require a gear operator for a chain wheel.

Manual Limit Switches

Manual Limit Switches (ball and butterfly valves)

For position feedback of manual valves. Limit switch box c/w SPDT switches and beacon, CSA, NEMA 4X enclosure with beacon and two 2” NPT conduit entries, mounted with stainless steel hardware. An intrinsically safe version is also available.

Locking Devices

Locking Devices (ball, butterfly, diaphragm and gate valves)

Plastic Locking Handle Designs accommodate standard padlocks with 7/32” diameter shank.

Operating Nuts

Operating Nuts (ball, butterfly and gate valves)

2” Square Nuts for operation with T-Bar (sold separately). These allow operation of valves below grade using a municipal “key” with a 2” socket. The 2” square nut attaches to the stem of a ball, gate, butterfly, and diaphragm valves, as well as stem extensions.

Valve Gauges

Gauges (for gauge isolators and back pressure/relief valves)

Chemline offers either base mount or back mount gauges in 316 SS or brass Bourdon Tube. Gauges have dials and cases filled with either glycerine (standard), glycol or silicone for corrosion resistance and dampening.

Low Torque Flange Gaskets

For flanged valves ½” to 22”. Recommended for all plastic piping systems to prevent initial flange leakage due to bolt over tightening. They are especially recommended for all Chemline solid plastic flanged body valves. The unique double convex ring design provides optimum sealing with a fraction of the bolt torque required for flat face gaskets. The PTFE gaskets have 0.4 mm sheet material bonded to EPDM. This increases elasticity, lowering bolt torques required to seal. Learn more >

Chemline Plastics Silicone-free Valve

Silicone-Free Valves (all valves)

Valves assembled with non-silicone lubricant for paint system applications.

Chemline Plastics Lube Free Valves

Lube-Free Valves (all valves)

Valves assembled with no lubricant for high purity applications.
